    Welcome to the Classified Ads for open positions here at Good Morning, East Hardin.  Good Morning, East Hardin is a morning news and talk show broadcast on the EHMS television network.  The broadcast airs for approximately 1 hour, exclusively on EHMS News.

  • Producer

    The producer is generally in charge of the entire production. This person develops and organizes segments and is responsible for scripting, story development, booking of guests and overseeing field production and editing.

    He or she comes up with the program concept, lays out the budget for the production and makes the major decisions. This person is the chief honcho, the team leader, the person who works with the writers, decides on the key talent and guides the general direction of the production. The Producer is also in charge of staff meetings to help guide and plan the direction of the weekly broadcast.

    • Director

      The Director is the person in charge of working out preproduction details, coordinating the activities of the production staff and on-camera talent, working out camera and talent positions on the set, selecting the camera shots during the production, and supervising postproduction work.

      • Advertising Director

        The Advertising Director is in charge of filling the advertising slots in the broadcast. The work together in the planning, storyboarding and the production of commercial slots within the broadcast. They are in charge of casting actors for commercials as well as overseeing the editing of the final commercial.

        • Audio/Visual Technicians

          AV Technicians work closely with the Producer and Director in managing the audio and visual elements of the broadcast. AV Technicians must be fluent in chromakey or Green-screening.

          Seeking an employee with: a strong work ethic, leadership/management skills, creative, high attendance, good decision maker, fair, willingness to learn new skills and figure out the basic functionality of software, willing to troubleshoot, people skills

          • Creative Writers

            The Creative Writing team works closely with the Producer to plan a variety of engaging segments to be aired on the broadcast. Creative Writers listen closely to the "needs" and "wants" of the viewing audience. They may use Web 2.0 programs to poll or survey the audience in order to make the broadcast more appealing to viewers.

            • Technical Director

              The Technical Director is in charge of overseeing the Audio-Visual Technicians. The Technical Director facilitates the AV staff meetings to go over storyboard for production and plan the audio-visual elements of the broadcast. The Technical Director is also in charge of editing the AV portion of the broadcast in addition to troubleshooting any technical failures or outages.

              • Anchors

                The Anchors are the on-screen faces of Good Morning, East Hardin. The Anchors will be in charge of following the script and storyboard written by the creative writers. They will need to be dressed appropriately for on-screen appearances and be "relatable" to the viewing audience.

                • Reporters

                  The Reporters are in charge of reporting on issues clearly defined by the producer and creative writers. The reporters will be on-camera and will need to be "relatable" just like the Anchors. The reporters must be able to "think quick" and "on their feet" as the reporters will be reporting on "live TV."

                  • Creative Designers

                    The Creative Designing team will work closely with the Producer and Director to design a visually appealing set for every segment in the broadcast. This team will utilize Ms. Hazle as a mentor to help in the creative designer process. This team will also assist all visual elements on camera.

                    They are also in charge of making sure the studio and set is organized and fully functional. They are in charge of keeping an inventory of equipment and supplies in addition to ensuring everything is accounted for, in its proper place and clean.

                    • Camera/Videographer

                      The videographer is in charge of operating the camera in studio as well as in the field. The videographer team will also work closely with the producer to edit the film to fit time constraints and segments.

                      • Creative Writing Editor

                        The Creative Writing Editor is in charge of overseeing the Creative Writing Team. The Creative Writing Team will submit all proposals and ideas to the CR Editor. The CR Editor will proof all segments and information to ensure the content is from reliable sources and worthy of news.
